TUNNEL VISION is based around a tunnel on the North Cornwall Railway under the hamlet of Trelill. Unless you battled the undergrowth and the barbed wire you'd never know it was there but it once took trains every day from London to Padstow , including the Atlantic Coast Express.
The story starts with journalist Robbie Glendenning finding a skeleton inside as he looks at making the old line a cycle trail. The police are not gripped but Robbie finds various links to the old railway - still operating 50 years ago. Eventually he provokes a reaction - but not the one he might have hoped.
It is not until analyst George Gilbert arrives on the scene that the case moves to a striking conclusion.
